Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations (Aerospace)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility; onsite role. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Lead CNC machining operations across two facilities through subordinate supervisors, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Direct manufacturing engineering and supporting functions such as deburring and post-processing across the machining value stream.
• Industrialize machining processes for additive-manufactured preforms and billet components, transitioning products from development into stable production.
• Develop capacity expansion plans covering workforce growth, equipment utilization, process improvements, capital requirements, and additional shifts.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production Control, and site leadership to execute manufacturing priorities and manage operational risks.
• Drive performance through operational metrics, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, budgeting, labor forecasting, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• Typically 8–12 years of manufacturing experience, including 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience managing functions through supervisors or managers.
• Significant experience leading CNC machining operations, manufacturing engineering, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production systems, operational leadership, ERP systems, manufacturing software, and performance metrics.
• Strong financial, analytical, strategic, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, additive manufacturing, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies and production scaling strategies.
