Manufacturing Engineer (Integration Facing) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Write assembly instructions and develop component-level test plans.
• Translate engineering requirements and design intent into integration tooling, test plans, and executable manufacturing processes.
• Identify workflow gaps, assess manufacturing capabilities, and determine tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams on manufacturing capabilities, assembly steps, and cost drivers.
• Lead mixed teams in launching new manufacturing processes and establishing future capabilities.
• Resolve build issues, integrate new technologies, and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace, or an engineering degree with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience may substitute for an engineering degree.
• Experience with complex assemblies, test procedures, physical product builds, testing, and process validation.
• Familiarity with CAD software; NX and CATIA experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with PLM or ERP systems and exposure to ASME/AS9100 standards.
• Must be able to meet U.S. ITAR requirements, including applicable U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, protected-individual status, or required export authorizations.
