Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Enterprise Planning

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with three days of in-office work per week. Thursday is a required in-office day, while the other two office days are flexible.

Base pay: $218,592–$286,902 per year.

What you will do

• Lead key components of the annual operating plan cycle with Finance, Strategy, and business leaders.
• Translate company priorities into financial plans, targets, investment decisions, and executive-ready materials.
• Evaluate strategic investment opportunities, trade-offs, and resource allocation.
• Build financial models, business cases, and decision frameworks for investment prioritization and ROI assessment.
• Develop reporting and insights on plan performance, investment progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Synthesize complex financial and operational inputs into concise recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate strategy, investment banking, consulting, or a related strategic finance role.
• Experience with annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, or capital allocation.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, business case development, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce executive-level recommendations.
• High ownership and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in complex, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in strategy consulting, financial services, insurance, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking.
• Healthcare industry experience and deep market knowledge.
• An advanced degree or professional designation such as an MBA or CFA.
