Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance (Fintech)

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States; hybrid, 3–4 days in the office per week, with occasional travel to Los Angeles

Salary: $165,000–$195,000 per year, plus company equity through stock options.

What you will do

• Lead financial strategy for existing and new products, pricing initiatives, and business lines.
• Evaluate return on investment and payback for investments and expansion opportunities.
• Prepare board decks, fundraising materials, and leadership updates from complex financial data.
• Partner with go-to-market, merchant, and customer teams on scalable, driver-based revenue models.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, new market evaluations, and investment decisions.
• Advance data and tooling infrastructure to scale strategic finance and unlock insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
• Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and extracting insights from large data sets.
• Ability to create C-level narratives using Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business intelligence tools is beneficial.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence without authority.
• Deep understanding of balance-sheet lending and consumer credit dynamics.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience with business intelligence tools.
