Strategic Finance Manager (AI/MedTech)

Location: Boston or remote across the U.S.; an eligible U.S. work permit is required. Remote employees participate in 4–5 in-person company or team opportunities per year.

Base salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead strategic analyses covering AI costs and ROI, market opportunities, new products, pricing, packaging, and strategic investments.
• Own forecasting, headcount and spend planning, and driver-based financial models for scenario analysis and resource allocation.
• Improve Finance data quality and system connectivity while developing AI-enabled workflows and automating repetitive processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, define key metrics and KPIs, and build reporting cadences for leadership.
• Manage procurement processes, vendor evaluations, renewals, benchmarking, negotiations, and spend optimization.
• Partner with Finance leaders and cross-functional teams to turn ambiguous problems and imperfect data into recommendations and decisions.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, Strategic Finance, FP&A, Business Operations, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to build analyses in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, reason from first principles, exercise business judgment, and communicate clear recommendations.
• Experience independently managing multiple workstreams and moving between strategic analysis and hands-on execution.
• Comfort working with data and using AI, automation, and improved systems to redesign processes.
• Must hold an eligible work permit in the United States.

• Experience in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience with SQL, business intelligence tools, or data visualization.
