Senior Product Manager (Data Foundations)

Location: Bay Area (San Francisco/Peninsula)

Salary: $153,000–$203,000 base annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Set the strategy and roadmap for central data infrastructure and business intelligence, supporting company-wide KPI reporting and insights.
• Guide architecture and platform decisions across cloud data warehousing, semantic layers, data modeling, BI, and ETL tooling.
• Own user workflows, requirements documentation, quality and timeliness SLAs, and rapid prototypes for reporting and query capabilities.
• Implement AI-based solutions that enable non-technical business users to self-serve insights.
• Translate ambiguous business and analytics needs into clear, testable requirements for engineering.
• Partner with Analytics leadership, engineering, and business stakeholders to build a trusted system of record.

Requirements

• End-to-end experience owning data platform or BI product strategy, from architecture decisions through adoption.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data warehousing platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
• Fluency in semantic modeling, BI and ETL tooling, and data architecture concepts.
• Experience using AI tools in daily workflows and identifying ways to expand access to business insights.
• Ability to structure ambiguous cross-functional needs into sequenced requirements and define success through SLAs and adoption metrics.
• Experience building foundational systems with lean teams and anticipating scaling challenges as data volume and usage grow.
