Senior C++ Engineer (Browser)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software using modern C++.
• Build and improve browser, platform, and systems-level components.
• Develop product capabilities and enhance existing functionality.
• Solve performance, reliability, memory, concurrency, and resource-efficiency challenges.
• Investigate technical issues across application and system boundaries.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, architecture improvements, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Strong professional software engineering experience and advanced knowledge of modern C++.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex production software and large-scale codebases.
• Good understanding of performance, memory management, concurrency, and multithreaded systems.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chromium, browser engines, or other browser technologies.
• Desktop or cross-platform application development experience.
• Windows, macOS, or Linux development experience.
• Experience with networking, rendering, media, Python, Rust, or other performance-sensitive technologies.
• Experience with consumer-facing software at significant scale or AI-powered product technologies.
