EHS Programs and Planning Manager

Location: Field, Massachusetts, United States; occasional travel and participation in emergency response activities required.

Salary: $98,600–$147,800 per year.

What you will do

• Administer EHS management information systems, compliance platforms, reporting tools, document repositories, forms, templates, and controlled documents.
• Produce EHS metrics, dashboards, reports, and trend analyses while partnering with Data Analytics on automation and process improvement.
• Manage emergency planning programs, including Facility Response Plans, SPCC Plans, hazardous substance plans, and preparedness documentation.
• Coordinate plan updates, responder qualifications, emergency resource inventories, vendors, contractors, and operating-location implementation.
• Participate as an Incident Management Team member during emergency response events when required.
• Supervise and develop direct reports, lead strategic EHS projects, and support training, communications, employee engagement, and drills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety and/or emergency response, preferably in retail, oil and gas, or terminal operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience managing EHS programs, analytics, reporting systems, environmental compliance initiatives, service providers, and EHS contracts.
• Working knowledge of FRP, SPCC, PREP, HAZWOPER, and related emergency response planning programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, reporting tools, and online or mobile forms development tools; experience with Gensuite or similar software.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills; valid driver’s license required.
