Location: Huntley, Illinois, United States; onsite at the orthopedic clinic

Salary: USD 40.79–55.07 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct physical therapy care and manage patient plans from initial evaluation through discharge.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations, select appropriate treatment modalities, and adjust treatment plans according to patient progress.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients using materials and methods appropriate to their understanding and motivation.
• Collaborate with PTAs, physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, clinical education, student mentoring, and department projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to meet department productivity, documentation, scheduling, and patient-care standards.
• Ability to participate in staff meetings, department meetings, and occasional schedule adjustments outside normal hours.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
