Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist-Full-time

Location: 7 Blanchard Circle, Wheaton, IL, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: USD 40.79–55.07 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy and manage patient plans of care from initial evaluation through discharge.
• Select evaluation methods, treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols; perform re-evaluations and adjust treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families using materials and methods appropriate to their level of understanding and motivation.
• Collaborate with PTAs, physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, student education, clinical instruction, and departmental projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Compliance with professional standards, department policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
• Ability to flex schedules or assignments to meet patient care and departmental needs.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience serving as a clinical instructor, mentor, or observation host.
