Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, with travel across multiple Southern New Hampshire practice locations

What you will do

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and visit information.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, medications, immunizations, and point-of-care testing within scope of practice.
  • Collect, prepare, and process laboratory specimens.
  • Triage patient concerns, communicate with providers, and coordinate referrals, screenings, prescription refills, and follow-up care.
  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain examination rooms, supplies, and equipment while adapting to different clinical environments and workflows.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or at least three years of Medical Assistant experience.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical office workflows, vital signs, specimen collection, and patient documentation.
  • Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to travel and work across multiple practice locations. Basic computer skills required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in ambulatory care, primary care, family medicine, or a multi-specialty practice.
  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT.
  • Experience with Epic.
