Field Claims Representative (Property And Casualty Insurance)

Location: Mesa, Arizona; candidates should reside in the North or Western Phoenix area. Initial training is in person, followed by a merit-based work-from-home program as defined by leadership. Field and on-site investigations are required.

What you will do

• Investigate claims, assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate losses, and analyze legal liability.
• Handle multi-line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory, with an emphasis on property claims.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to assess coverage.
• Resolve claims accurately and promptly while ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Conduct investigations by phone, mail, and on site.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience handling property and casualty claims.
• At least 3 years of experience handling multi-line property and casualty claims, preferably with an emphasis on property claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to organize and interpret data, manage multiple assignments, and work effectively with diverse individuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving geometry, financial documents, sums, and unit costs.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; a valid driver license and acceptable driving record are required.
