Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster (Insurance)

Location: Montgomery, Alabama and surrounding areas, United States; full-time field work within the territory

Base salary: $77,600–$106,700 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Investigate property claims by determining policy coverage, evaluating damages, negotiating settlements, and resolving assigned claims.
• Contact insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather information, obtain recorded statements when needed, and explain the claims process.
• Complete physical and virtual inspections of damaged property.
• Evaluate property damage and prepare written estimates in accordance with policy provisions and liability.
• Use virtual claim-handling software and drone technology for property inspections.
• Respond to catastrophic claims assignments when required.

Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Maintain the appropriate claims adjuster licenses required by the states where business is conducted.
• Property Field representatives must obtain a Part 107 drone license for roof inspections within five months of starting and pass the exam within three attempts.
• Ability to perform full-time field work in Montgomery, Alabama and surrounding areas.
• Availability to work beyond normal business hours when business needs require.
