Data Scientist - Junior (Generative AI/ML)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; onsite five days per week

Salary: 64,309 CZK per month minimum base pay

What you will do

• Support the identification, training, optimization, and deployment of generative AI models, mainly LLMs.
• Build and optimize machine learning models for Digital Twin and Generative AI projects using structured, unstructured, time-series, and text data.
• Develop scalable pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and model development.
• Research advances in generative AI and machine learning and evaluate model performance for accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with software, data, mechanical, field engineering, analytics, and service teams to integrate models into AI services and digital platforms.
• Document technical solutions and processes to support knowledge sharing and reproducibility.

Requirements

• Education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with software engineering and AI/ML models through coursework, projects, internships, or self-study.
• Solid foundation in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Basic understanding of machine learning, deep learning architectures, statistical and regression modeling.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, Git, and REST protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in an Agile environment with a global team.

Nice to have

• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, reduced order modeling, and large datasets.
• Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, ethical AI, and model interpretability.
• Understanding of GenAI capabilities, modern solutions, and protocols.
• Understanding of industrial gas turbine technology and technology infrastructure.
