AI Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid work in Bratislava, Slovakia or Brno, Czech Republic

Basic wage component: from €2,500 gross per month. A performance bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary may be paid twice per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure AI-powered tools, agents, and services.
• Develop Python-based AI services and integrations with Jira, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, internal APIs, repositories, and data platforms.
• Work with large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, and agentic workflows.
• Deploy, monitor, and improve AI applications with a focus on reliability, security, cost efficiency, maintainability, and responsible use.
• Research applications of AI in software engineering, automation, documentation, testing, and developer productivity.
• Document solutions, share engineering practices, and contribute to internal and developer-community knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of practical Python development experience with APIs, scripts or notebooks, automation, and data-processing workflows.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agents or agentic workflows.
• Experience with coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code, including safe review practices, testing, and context management.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, clean code, documentation, and debugging.
• Basic knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI or Anthropic SDKs, vector databases, and machine learning or data science libraries.
• Active English at B2 level or higher is required.
