Chief Finance Officer

Location: London, part home/part office based

Salary: Circa £135,000 per annum

What you will do

• Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to the Chief Executive, Trustee Board, and Executive Team.
• Lead Finance and the wider portfolio covering risk, governance, legal, and facilities.
• Shape long-term growth strategy through investment decisions, commercial partnerships, and new income opportunities.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and business case development.
• Work with fundraising, marketing, partnerships, policy, and digital teams to develop opportunities while maintaining accountability and stewardship.
• Develop a high-performing, commercially minded team and contribute to organisation-wide transformation and decision-making.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with significant senior financial leadership experience in complex organisational settings.
• Strong strategic capability, commercial acumen, and a record of helping organisations grow income, adapt, and innovate.
• Experience developing commercial ventures, partnerships, or audience-led business models is attractive.
• Ability to provide executive-level leadership across finance, governance, risk, and organisational strategy.
