Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Porto, Portugal (hybrid)

What you will do

• Write SQL queries to query and analyze Oracle database tables.
• Explore and profile raw data to understand its structure, business rules, and potential anomalies.
• Work with Data Engineers, BI, and Analytics teams to translate business rules into technical requirements.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications, including source-to-target data mapping.
• Support business stakeholders by assessing the data available in Oracle systems.
• Design and execute functional and technical data reconciliation test plans.

Requirements

• 3+ years of solid experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills, including JOINs, subqueries, and analytical functions.
• Experience with Oracle databases and tools such as PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, DBeaver, or SQL Developer.
• Ability to analyze data models, including tables, views, and primary and foreign keys.
• Basic understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts.
• Advanced English is mandatory.
