Mid-Level Business Data Analyst (Oracle & SQL)

Location: Porto, Portugal, with a hybrid work model including 3 remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and analytical functions, using Oracle databases.
• Gather and define data requirements with cross-functional teams for reporting and analysis.
• Analyze tables, views, schemas, and primary and foreign keys to support business insights.
• Apply data architecture concepts, including Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Communicate analytical findings to stakeholders and support operational and strategic improvements.
• Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security across analysis activities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to write complex queries and analyze databases.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and tools such as PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, DBeaver, or SQL Developer.
• Solid understanding of data models, schemas, and data architecture.
• Fluent English at C1 level is mandatory.
• Ability to work autonomously, coordinate cross-functionally, and influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Portuguese at C1 level.
• French at B2 level.
• Experience with Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Certifications in data analysis or related fields.
