Sr. Software Engineer, Threat Detection Incident Response (Hybrid, Dublin) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, architect, and develop Go-based microservices for threat detection, case management, and incident response.
• Build RESTful APIs and intelligent workflows connecting detections, evidence, and response actions.
• Lead system design, architecture decisions, design reviews, RFC processes, and improvements to code quality and performance.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities including LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and intelligent analyst tooling.
• Own technical initiatives end to end and collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across product groups.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, participate in on-call rotation, and improve system reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years building and operating distributed systems or cloud-native services at scale.
• Proficiency building resilient, low-latency production services with Go, Python, Java, C++, or C#.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns, and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP.
• Strong cross-functional communication, ownership, collaboration, and ability to translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Go-based microservices for scalable, high-throughput architectures.
• Background in cybersecurity, SIEM, SOAR, or adjacent security domains.
• Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or agentic AI frameworks.
