Software Engineer (Storage Systems)

Location: Cork, Munster, Ireland; hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations

What you will do

• Design and develop features for the flagship storage operating system.
• Contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, including debugging, testing, and customer support.
• Build scalable, high-performance system software solutions.
• Resolve engineering challenges and address customer escalations.
• Collaborate with peer engineers, QA, Systemic Test Engineering, and dependent teams to understand customer use cases and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in system-level software development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Unix/Linux system programming.
• Strong knowledge of operating system internals, algorithms, and multithreaded programming.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
