Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect (ServiceNow)

Location: UK only. Work from home is available, with travel to client locations for meetings, workshops, or periods of on-site delivery when required. Candidates should preferably live near a DXC office in London, Farnborough, Newcastle upon Tyne, or Erskine (Glasgow). Eligibility for security clearance and sole UK nationality are required.

What you will do

• Lead the technical delivery of complex ServiceNow projects from scoping and design through implementation.
• Define robust, user-centred technical and architectural designs aligned with DXC standards and client needs.
• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and client IT and business systems.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior architects, and collaborate with onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Develop solution demonstrations, resolve complex delivery challenges, and support long-term client success.
• Contribute to the ServiceNow product roadmap, architecture community, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development.

Requirements

• Proven consulting or professional-services experience delivering complex technical solutions.
• Successful experience delivering ServiceNow projects as a Solution Architect, on time and within budget.
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist in at least one product suite, and ITIL Foundation v3 or v4.
• Hands-on ServiceNow scripting and configuration experience, including JavaScript, CSS, AngularJS, Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets, and UI Pages.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, and JDBC, plus knowledge of business analysis and agile or traditional delivery methods.
• Must be eligible for security clearance and be a sole UK national. Willingness to travel when needed is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with business solutions, particularly CSDM and CMDB.
• Experience working in complex client environments and adapting solutions to different constraints.
• Strong relationship-building, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
