VP, Head of Program Management - AI

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work from home near a hirify.global Hub or from an office, with required in-person engagement at the nearest Hub. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $170,000–$290,000 annual, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the AI program management function across strategic initiatives, enablement programs, tooling rollouts, adoption efforts, and cross-functional projects.
• Translate AI strategy into integrated portfolio roadmaps, milestone plans, dependency maps, governance forums, and execution rhythms.
• Coordinate AI enablement, training, communications, change management, and adoption campaigns across enterprise functions.
• Drive launch readiness and adoption for AI tools, including stakeholder alignment, feedback loops, adoption measurement, and post-launch improvements.
• Track portfolio KPIs, investments, risks, dependencies, issues, benefits, and resource needs, maintaining a reliable program record.
• Prepare executive reporting, briefings, leadership reviews, working sessions, and governance forums for the Head of AI and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10+ years of program, portfolio, transformation, or strategic initiative leadership experience; 14+ years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience leading large, complex, enterprise-wide programs with multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience delivering technology, data, digital, analytics, automation, AI, or transformation programs in financial services, banking, or another highly regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of AI, data, analytics, technology delivery, change management, responsible AI, model governance, risk, privacy, legal, and compliance concepts.
• Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, product operating models, and delivery tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Planner, or Power BI.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Ability and flexibility to travel for business is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, machine learning, data science, analytics, automation, or emerging technology programs.
• Experience establishing program management, portfolio management, transformation, or center-of-excellence operating models.
• Experience leading enterprise change management, enablement, training, communications, and technology adoption.
