Electrician — Mobile (Auto-Electrician) (Mining)

Location: Didipio operations, Philippines; onsite at the mine

What you will do

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on surface production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems in vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Install electrical accessories on light and heavy equipment and estimate required materials.
• Test equipment, use computer tools to trace electrical pathways, and locate malfunctions.
• Document maintenance activities through work orders and PRONTO.
• Maintain tools and work areas while suggesting improvements to equipment performance and safety.

Requirements

• Automotive Electrician graduate, TESDA NC-II certified, or vocational training in industrial electricity and automotive systems.
• At least seven years of experience as a mobile electrician in mining, cement, power, or another heavy industry.
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing automotive and heavy-equipment electrical systems.
• Knowledge of motor rewinding and auto rewinding.
• Valid Professional Driver’s license.
• Computer literacy; PRONTO and INX experience is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience servicing Toyota Hilux and Fortuner, HOWO dump trucks, Terex cranes, Volvo loaders, Caterpillar equipment, or Atlas Copco generator sets.
