Intern - Manufacturing Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Biñan City, Laguna, Philippines; onsite at the Biñan HICAP Office

What you will do

• Support day-to-day engineering activities in the assigned function area.
• Assist with data collection, process monitoring, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to a defined internship project with measurable results.
• Attend structured learning sessions and technical orientations.
• Complete midpoint and final internship assessments.
• Present project findings to the engineering team and mentor.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• At least third-year standing; rising seniors are preferred.
• Good academic standing and an academic program that requires or permits an internship for credit.
• Available for a 3–6-month internship at the Philippines site.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, laboratory, or hands-on engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Exposure to quality tools, process documentation, or engineering drawings.
• Basic statistics and data analysis skills.
• Strong academic performance in technical subjects.
