Sr. Associate Counsel (FTC - Mat Leave Coverage)

Location: London, United Kingdom; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Advise Commercial & Money Movement Solutions business teams on product development, deployment, and commercial, regulatory, and contracting considerations.
• Support hirify.global products and services, including hirify.global Direct, and help develop new payment and money movement offerings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Review product-related marketing materials, public relations content, and corporate communications.
• Assess regulatory developments and their impact on hirify.global and its partners.
• Coordinate with regional and local legal teams and supervise outside counsel when required.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in England; candidates qualified in other jurisdictions may also be considered.
• Experience in a commercial legal environment, preferably combining in-house and law firm work.
• Significant transactional experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience in payments, financial services, technology, or fintech, together with financial regulatory experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, client counseling, and business judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while advising business clients at all levels.
