Legal Officer (Fintech)

Location: Ypsonas, Cyprus

International fintech company with offices in Cyprus, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, the United Arab Emirates, and Armenia, and a workforce of more than 600 employees.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to management and internal departments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and interpret applicable laws and regulations.
• Review policies, procedures, and business practices for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain corporate legal documentation and records and assist with corporate governance.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise stakeholders on their potential impact.

Requirements

• Law degree: LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Excellent legal research, regulatory analysis, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of labor, corporate, and commercial law.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain professional integrity and discretion.

Nice to have

• Previous in-house counsel experience in the relevant industry.
