Senior DWH Architect (Kafka/Flink)

Location: Flexible hybrid model with one onsite day per week in Wrocław or Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Design architectures for complex data processing solutions and scalable data flows.
• Support implementation of a modern ODS platform.
• Design batch and real-time processing, streaming architectures, and CDC-based integrations.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and create end-to-end data solutions.
• Implement and support new functionality, existing data systems, and users.
• Cooperate with development, architecture, and other departments across the bank.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a developer or architect.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Flink, Kafka, CDC, SQL, batch ETL, data integration, and stream processing.
• Experience designing complex data flows and real-time processing and decisioning solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and previous hands-on development or architecture experience.
• Fluent Polish is required.

Nice to have

• Spark, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Oracle, Python, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Banking or financial services experience.
