Senior Software Engineer, Edge Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Own the sensor signal chain, including ADC acquisition and timing, filtering, integration, averaging, and calibration.
• Integrate new detectors and sensing elements, supporting board bring-up through production-ready drivers.
• Develop Zephyr firmware for detectors within the modular sensor stack.
• Design noise-rejection solutions for vibration, EMI, thermal drift, and other industrial conditions.
• Build on-device calibration workflows, coefficient storage, third-party calibration procedures, and sensor provisioning.
• Ship drivers, OTA updates, health monitoring, and connectivity to the Edge Gateway.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production systems software.
• Deep Linux experience with administration, networking, filesystems, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Experience shipping software into on-premises, edge, embedded, robotics, or other environments outside direct control.
• Practical experience with bare-metal infrastructure, hypervisors, virtual machines, and containers.
• Strong experience with Rust, Python, C/C++, or Go, including automation and systems tooling.
• Experience with edge AI/LLM deployment, monitoring, recovery, secure software updates, and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying ML models and LLMs on edge hardware, including inference runtimes and resource constraints.
