Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer (Gas & Particle Sensing Systems)

What you will do

• Analyze instrumentation needs, define design specifications, prototype, and assemble gas and particulate sensors for flight applications.
• Develop, maintain, and automate laboratory test benches for sensor-performance characterization.
• Integrate gas and particulate sensors onto flight-test platforms across the full lifecycle.
• Perform data acquisition and processing using LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python.
• Coordinate with design offices, test specialists, flight-test engineers, hirify.global entities, suppliers, start-ups, research laboratories, and universities.
• Manage metrological control of instrumentation components and support flight-test campaigns.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Physical Measurements.
• Practical experience with test benches, including wiring, calibration, and preparation of sensors or analyzers.
• Experience writing test plans, displaying and processing data, applying digital signal processing, and preparing test reports.
• Knowledge of physicochemical measurements and metrology.
• Strong written and verbal English and fluency in French are required.
• Eligibility for security, Export Control, and Military clearances from the relevant authorities is required.
