Global Product Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; travel required up to 25% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Develop service procedures, Best Known Methods, troubleshooting guides, Customer Engineering Notices, and Internal Service Bulletins for new products.
• Participate in or lead first chamber build and testing in the applications laboratory, resolve issues, and support new product final testing with Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Review top field issues with Quality & Reliability, participate in CAPA activities, and conduct or facilitate failure analysis.
• Develop installation, retrofit, maintenance, and technical product manual documentation.
• Collect process and qualification data, identify required spare parts, and coordinate correct stocking locations with AGS.
• Develop initial product training and train Customer Engineers, Process Engineers, and Technical Product Support staff before product shipments.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the function integrates with other areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
