Sr Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

Location: Irving, TX, United States; primarily an office-based position with physical and site-presence requirements.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and HRSD.
• Build custom ServiceNow applications with App Studio and orchestrate complex workflows with Flow Designer.
• Design ServiceNow integrations using Integration Hub, custom APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Develop advanced scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, portal widgets, and modern user experiences with UI Builder and Next Experience.
• Support Playbooks, NowAssist, and other ServiceNow AI capabilities to improve service outcomes and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with architects, product owners, product management, and business stakeholders on scalable solutions, code reviews, technical design, governance, security, and compliance.

Requirements

• ServiceNow platform development and administration, including ITSM, ITOM fundamentals, advanced scripting, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and advanced workflow orchestration.
• HRSD, custom application development with ServiceNow App Studio, Integration Hub and enterprise integrations, UI Builder, Next Experience, Playbooks, and NowAssist Fundamentals.
• Front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Back-end development, REST/SOAP API integration, database design and queries using SQL/NoSQL, and version control and CI/CD practices such as Git.
• 6+ years of overall IT experience and 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Proven experience with both ServiceNow platform development and full-stack development.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and/or HRSD.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
