What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements covering game publishing and distribution, IP and brand licensing, marketing and partnerships, services, and SaaS/vendor arrangements.
- Support early-stage investment transactions, including SAFEs, SAFTs, token warrants, subscription agreements, and shareholders’ agreements.
- Assist with transaction diligence, closing mechanics, corporate records, board and shareholder resolutions, and coordination with company secretarial providers.
- Track digital asset regulatory developments across Hong Kong, Singapore, the EU, and the UAE and translate them into practical internal guidance.
- Manage intellectual property matters, including trade mark portfolios and brand enforcement.
- Advise business teams on commercial, data privacy, consumer terms, and platform compliance matters.
Requirements
- Qualified to practise in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction, with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Training or practice at a reputable law firm, or comparable in-house experience.
- Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Clear, plain-English communication and the ability to provide practical advice to non-lawyers.
- Sound judgement, flexibility with shifting priorities, and comfort working with ambiguity, volume, and pace.

- Exposure to venture capital or M&A transactions.
- Familiarity with digital asset regulation, IP licensing, or the games industry.
