Wash Bay Supervisor (Automotive)

Location: Cairns Airport, Australia; onsite role

Salary: $30.82 per hour plus shift loadings and monthly incentives.

What you will do

• Oversee vehicle cleaning, inspection, detailing, and preparation for rental.
• Maintain vehicle presentation, asset quality, availability, and customer experience standards.
• Lead, train, mentor, and motivate the wash bay team.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Monitor workflows, improve operational efficiency, and optimize resource use.
• Promote safe work practices, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead a high-performing detailing or cleaning team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Availability for a rotating roster from 6am to midnight, Monday to Sunday, including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
• Current provisional or full driver's licence and working rights in Australia required.
• Successful applicants must complete a National Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.

• Experience in vehicle detailing or cleaning.
