What you will do
- Support the Farm Manager with day-to-day farm management, operational performance, and decision-making.
- Lead and coordinate employees and contractors while maintaining strong workplace health and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage crops with Farm Managers, independent agronomists, and the precision agriculture team.
- Operate large-scale cropping machinery for spraying, planting, spreading, and harvesting.
- Help develop the farm, its people, and the wider group culture.
Requirements
- Management experience in a broadacre cropping operation.
- Knowledge of growing dryland winter crops.
- Experience operating large-scale cropping plant and equipment.
- Ability to mentor and coach others, with strong initiative and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with consulting agronomists and contractors.
- Relevant qualifications are favorable but not required.
