Production Technician I (2nd Shift- 2:30pm-11pm)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Salary: $18.60–$33.20 per hour

What you will do

• Execute formulation, encapsulation, and primary and secondary packaging manufacturing processes.
• Set up, operate, clean, clear, and maintain production equipment according to batch records and procedures.
• Monitor operating conditions, perform in-process quality checks, and address minor equipment and process issues.
• Communicate operational events and issues to supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams.
• Complete batch records according to ALCOA and GMP requirements while maintaining an audit-ready production area.
• Train qualified colleagues on equipment and production processes and support operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a technical certificate or degree is preferred.
• Previous general manufacturing experience required, preferably 2–3 years in cGMP manufacturing.
• Technical aptitude, equipment troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate issues to engineering and mechanical teams.
• Knowledge of HMI controls, vision inspection systems, product serialization systems, POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day and lift up to 25 pounds.
