Production Technician I (3rd Shift- 10:30pm-7am)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite, 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am

Salary: $18.60–$33.20 per hour

What you will do

• Execute formulation, encapsulation, and primary and secondary packaging manufacturing processes.
• Set up, operate, clean, clear, and maintain production equipment according to batch records and operating procedures.
• Monitor multiple unit operations, maintain operating conditions, and communicate production issues.
• Perform minor equipment and process troubleshooting, repairs, and in-process quality checks.
• Complete batch records in accordance with ALCOA and GMP requirements and maintain an audit-ready production area.
• Train qualified colleagues and support operational improvements, safety initiatives, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a technical certificate or degree is preferred.
• Previous general manufacturing experience required, preferably 2–3 years in cGMP manufacturing.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and communicate with engineering and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new programs and applications.
• Understanding of HMI controls, vision inspection systems, product serialization systems, POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
• Ability to work onsite in North Chicago on the 3rd shift, stand for 8–12 hours per day, and lift up to 25 pounds.
