Associate Manufacturing Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: US - Massachusetts; onsite work required

Annual base salary: $18.16–$27.24, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain automated manufacturing equipment, including laser welding, heat staking, robotic automation, PCB handling and testing, metal forming, medical packaging, and component assembly systems.
• Perform basic repairs, fault clearing, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and daily or weekly preventive maintenance.
• Use human-machine interfaces and computer systems to monitor process control, inventory, and quality management.
• Prepare materials, run jobs on schedule, follow work orders and standard operating procedures, and support packaging and shipment preparation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, safety, and process issues; investigate root causes and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support new product design transfer, process development, equipment validation, and process validation activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient English required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machines, tools, production processes, measurement instruments, and quality control.
• Ability to identify problems, apply root-cause analysis concepts, and troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in cleanroom and regulated medical-device manufacturing environments while following GMPs.
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of each shift, walk for at least 50%, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• Previous cleanroom experience.
• Experience debugging and optimizing assembly processes.
• Experience in a startup production environment or regulated industry manufacturing.
