TL;DR
Engineering Technician (Electrical Testing): Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing protective relays, instruments, and electrical devices mounted on panels in production facilities and at customer sites with an accent on acceptance testing, schematic interpretation, and quality documentation. Focus on diagnosing electromechanical relays and control devices, creating testing procedures, and supporting electrical assembly and design work.
Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite work with local travel to customer sites

What you will do
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair protective relaying equipment, instruments, and electrical devices mounted on panels.
- Perform acceptance tests using computers, multimeters, relay test sets, and AC/DC power supplies.
- Assist with electrical device testing in the production facility and at customer sites.
- Interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics and inspect products for safety, quality, and operational compliance.
- Create testing documentation and support standard checklists and procedures for protective relays, IEDs, and electrical devices.
- Support assembly, design efforts, process improvements, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience testing electromechanical relays, instruments, and control devices.
- Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and independent-working skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, remain on your feet for up to 8 hours, and climb stairs or ladders.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to customer sites.
Nice to have
- Testing and field experience in electric utility and industrial substations.
- Experience with voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, Omicron, and other diagnostic test equipment.
