What you will do

• Build and wire electrical panels from scratch using electrical schematics.
• Perform field wiring to panel I/O and field-mounted I/O devices.
• Install electrical control components, fabricate mounting brackets, and complete pneumatic plumbing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, diagnose, and repair industrial automation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on automation equipment and components.
• Provide project status updates to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school coursework.
• 2+ years of experience wiring automated equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and pneumatic schematics.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment related to panel-building work.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
