Senior Director, Product Management, Platform Strategy (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in McLean, Virginia / Tysons vicinity, with 3 days per week onsite

Annual base salary: $202,000–$290,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Drive the strategic roadmap for the next-generation platform with Product, Engineering, and Architecture leadership.
• Align release sequencing with revenue commitments, growth targets, and go-to-market strategy.
• Coordinate cross-product dependencies and release timing across the broader portfolio.
• Define and lead enterprise customer adoption phases, segmentation, risk mitigation, success metrics, and executive and board reporting.
• Build an early-adopter program, recruit enterprise pilot customers, and develop customer references, champions, case studies, and testimonials.
• Own customer-facing communications from early access through broad rollout in partnership with Sales, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of enterprise SaaS product and/or R&D experience, including platform strategy, architecture evolution, or infrastructure-level product work.
• Experience owning and presenting multi-year platform or technology roadmaps to senior executives or a board.
• Experience leading large-scale technology or architecture evolution for enterprise customers, including phased rollout planning and change management.
• Experience aligning technical roadmaps with revenue, growth, and go-to-market targets and managing cross-functional dependencies.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience leading, hiring, coaching, and developing product managers or cross-functional product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted tooling, rapid prototyping, and an agile development environment.
• Experience building enterprise customer advocacy, early-adopter, beta, or reference programs.
• Experience with a Customer Experience Management platform.
• Familiarity with Productboard and JIRA.
