Senior Director, Product Management (Financial Platforms)

Location: Remote US; most roles can be performed from almost anywhere within the country of employment. New hires attend an in-person onboarding experience.

Salary: $305,000–$340,000 per year in most U.S. states; $340,000–$375,000 per year in CA, CT, NJ, NY, and WA.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 6–10 product managers, including people managers.
• Own the multi-year vision and strategy for the Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement domains.
• Guide decisions involving loan lifecycle mechanics, payment rails, settlement flows, and institutional transfers.
• Align Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, and Client Success stakeholders.
• Develop scalable platform strategies supporting international expansion, new markets, and new product lines.
• Define and improve platform health metrics such as settlement success, reconciliation coverage, exception volumes, and time to resolution.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including 3–5 years managing and developing PM teams with people managers.
• Deep experience with loans or lending systems, including loan lifecycle mechanics, servicing architecture, compliance, and operations.
• Meaningful experience with money movement, payments infrastructure, financial operations, payment rails, settlement flows, and cross-border transfers.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or banking; familiarity with BNPL, platform products, or backend infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong technical fluency with data models and API discussions, plus experience setting long-term platform strategy.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude or Cursor, strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
