Assistant Department Manager (Stone)

Location: On-site at hirify.global stores in Pembroke Pines, Palmetto Bay, Doral, Pompano, Coral Springs, West Palm, Lakeland, or Gainesville, Florida, United States.

Floor & Decor operates retail stores providing flooring, stone products, installation materials, and related customer services.

What you will do

• Train, develop, direct, and support Product Sales Specialists.
• Provide customers with product information, selection assistance, checkout support, refunds, exchanges, and how-to classes.
• Maintain department merchandising, product placement, pricing, organization, displays, signs, and tags.
• Coordinate merchandise processing to the showroom floor and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Communicate standard operating procedure updates and uphold safe lifting and retail operating practices.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and industrial truck/forklift proficiency testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service or sales experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to understand merchandise and installation information.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 60 pounds occasionally and working in a warehouse environment with moving vehicles.
