Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Build customer relationships by understanding renovation goals, budgets, timelines, style preferences, and installation needs.
• Guide customers through purchases involving flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, lighting, fixtures, storage, hardware, and décor.
• Create project quotes, compare options, recommend alternatives, and develop complete cross-category solutions.
• Explain measurements, materials, durability, compatibility, installation requirements, maintenance, lead times, and budget trade-offs.
• Use digital tools, POS systems, online inventory, and endless aisle capabilities to support customer decisions.
• Assist with carry-outs, curbside pickup, returns, merchandising, replenishment, inventory, displays, and floor sets.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in retail sales or another customer-facing role.
• 1+ year of experience working with home improvement products in at least one category, such as bathrooms or appliances.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, consultative selling, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency with mobile devices and POS systems, plus time management and multitasking ability.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently for a full day and lift up to 50 pounds independently on a regular basis.
• Open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays; the role is performed in a physical retail store in Columbus, Ohio.
