Building Engineer (HVAC)

What you will do

• Maintain and review daily operating logs for air-conditioning units, fans, utility meters, and general building issues.
• Handle building systems and tenant service requests efficiently while controlling maintenance costs.
• Conduct inspections, alarm testing, and preventive maintenance activities to support safe and reliable operations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and the RFP process for planned projects.
• Monitor proper chemical treatment levels for cooling towers and boilers.
• Coordinate with property managers, suppliers, and department leaders while maintaining inventory, records, and schedules.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in building or property maintenance or engineering.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, energy management systems, and other building mechanical equipment.
• Experience with work-order and preventive-maintenance software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
