Building Engineer

What you will do

• Operate and maintain HVAC and MEP equipment under the direction of the Chief Engineer.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and work-order response for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed building systems.
• Respond promptly and courteously to tenant requests while maintaining positive tenant relations.
• Operate building equipment and help ensure efficient building functions and equipment life expectancy.
• Induce water treatment chemicals and perform chemical analysis tests, reporting abnormal results.
• Assist with parts and supplies inventory and compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical experience in building engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, repair, maintenance, and system design.
• Willingness to work on call as needed.
• Ability to remain calm during emergency situations and maintain a professional manner.

Nice to have

• Universal CFC recovery certification.
