Solar Finance Associate (Renewable Energy)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $93,236.80–$122,860.50 USD annually, plus discretionary incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Perform financial and industry due diligence to evaluate transaction risk and return.
• Prepare pitches, proposals, client materials, and supporting financial analyses.
• Support the origination and management of solar finance and tax equity projects.
• Coordinate bankers, third-party consultants, and subject-matter experts to deliver client solutions.
• Maintain databases covering industry news, transactions, clients, prospects, and market participants.
• Coordinate call planning, pipeline management, and sales performance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a record of high achievement.
• At least two years of related experience in detailed financial analysis within corporate banking or a renewable energy company.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, take substantial responsibility, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, judgment, curiosity, and self-motivation.

Nice to have

• Experience with tax equity and/or energy project finance transactions.
• Strong knowledge of tax equity and debt structures in renewable energy.
