On-Site Artwork Project Manager, Packaging

Location: Fully remote within North America (US/Canada). The role works closely with the onsite and SGX Production Team.

Salary: CAD 50,000–60,000 annually in Ontario, plus benefits.

SGS & Co and SGK operate as SGX, providing packaging graphics, plate and cylinder production, and metal deco services for brand owners, retailers, and printers.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end workflow of packaging artwork and commercialization projects for an assigned snack brand.
• Coordinate high-volume timelines, task planning, approvals, submissions, budgets, estimates, and purchase orders.
• Act as the liaison between clients, management, internal departments, printers, and suppliers.
• Coordinate artwork production, prepress activities, meetings, and client communications.
• Verify technical and content accuracy, monitor color quality, and implement corrective actions.
• Improve workflows, support best practices, anticipate risks, and help team members develop project management and communication skills.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred; entry-level candidates may be considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of artwork management systems and packaging production workflows.
• Ability to manage changing demands and interact effectively with clients, printers, and suppliers.
• Ability to work remotely within North America (US/Canada).

Nice to have

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency or certification.
• Customer service, project management, or project management certification.
• Experience in packaging, artwork, creative project management, print, production, design, prepress, or color management theory.
