Junior Trade Finance Specialist (German)

Location: On-site in Madrid, Spain

What you will do

• Process client and partner bank guarantees in line with legal, risk, and compliance policies.
• Perform internal controls, maintain accurate transaction records, and manage invoicing and accounting entries.
• Handle payments to correspondent banks and monitor daily operations and approvals.
• Coordinate with Back Office to ensure proper issuance of Letters of Credit.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Trade Services teams across Europe.
• Escalate complex documentary trade cases to management when required.

Requirements

• Advanced German proficiency is mandatory.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Degree in Law, Business, Translation, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Based in Madrid and available for full-time, on-site work.
