Internship - M&G Real Estate Madrid - 12 M FTC

M&G is a savings and investment business combining asset management and insurance expertise across Asset Management and Life operating segments.

What you will do

• Support asset management strategies for the existing Spanish and Portuguese real estate portfolio.
• Assist with property management, leasing, capital expenditure, health and safety, sustainability initiatives, and asset budgets.
• Monitor development projects, coordinate advisors and developers, and track project performance.
• Prepare reports for fund management, finance, valuation, and other internal teams.
• Screen investment opportunities and support acquisitions, sales, due diligence, and transaction activities using financial modelling.
• Prepare Investment Committee presentations, maintain the investment pipeline, and participate in selected site visits and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, real estate, or another related discipline.
• Quantitative analytical skills and knowledge of financial modelling with Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of real estate developments, refurbishments, and commercial asset classes.
• Fluent Spanish and English are essential.
• Ability to work independently in a small team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work from the Madrid office.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or real estate services, especially value-add actions or value-add funds.
• Knowledge of Yardi or Argus Enterprise.
• Experience with residential, PRS, and student housing assets.
• Portuguese language skills.
