Principal Learning Experience Designer (SaaS)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Office-first culture with three days per week in the office for most roles.

Annual base pay range for eligible listed U.S. locations: $90,000–$120,000 USD. The role may also include discretionary bonuses, equity, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver rapid, release-synchronous eLearning for technical SaaS products, primarily using Articulate Rise.
• Convert instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, SME-led, and technical content into scalable self-directed learning.
• Design new, release-maintenance, delta-training, and microlearning modules that explain product changes, their value, and practical application.
• Create demo and how-to videos with AI audio covering workflows, use cases, and best practices.
• Develop reusable templates, design patterns, and standards supporting consistency, accessibility, and delivery speed.
• Partner with product SMEs, trainers, and education leaders; use learner feedback to improve adoption and time-to-value while mentoring other designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
• 7+ years of instructional design or rapid eLearning experience design, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, technical platforms, or release-driven environments.
• Experience with ADDIE, backward design, and agile design, including rapid eLearning delivery in high-volume environments.
• Strong proficiency with Articulate Rise and working knowledge of Articulate Storyline.
• Hands-on video production experience with Camtasia, Snagit, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, inclusive and neurodiverse design principles, AI-assisted development, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
